I believe that the pattern of God regularly fellowshipping with Adam and Eve in the garden was a foreshadow of the rest we are to enjoy as New Testament believers. We don't know if the rest or visits that Adam and Eve enjoyed with God were on a daily basis; but, we do know from the pattern the new Adam - the Lord Jesus Christ - established - is that the visits with the Father were on a regular basis.
